Our Story
The story of Eco-Mars began in
March 2023,
when our founder,
Roshaan Zahid,
realized how deeply deforestation and waste were impacting our
planet. As a student passionate about the environment, he observed
that something as small as a pencil could be a hidden driver of
climate problems.
he question was simple but powerful:
Why should creativity and learning cost the Earth its trees?
With this thought, Roshaan and his close friends began experimenting
with ways to replace wooden pencils with a more sustainable
alternative. After months of trials, the first
prototype of eco-friendly seed pencils
was created in
July 2023.
That single prototype became the foundation of Eco-Mars.
The journey was not easy — from learning about recycling processes
to experimenting with strength, sharpening, and seed placement,
every step demanded creativity and persistence. But with teamwork,
determination, and a clear vision, Eco-Mars transformed from a small
student project into a
recognized national startup.
Today, Eco-Mars has scaled its products into
eco-friendly pencils, color pencils, and pens,
supplying them to schools, organizations, and exhibitions. What
started in a small university workspace is now inspiring thousands
of people to write, draw, and create with tools that protect the
planet.
We design eco-friendly pencils, color pencils, and plantable paper
pens made from recycled paper. Each carries seeds — so when the
pencil ends, a new life begins: a plant, a flower, or even a tree.
